Jose was an excellent resource for us as we looked at multiple builders and houses. Jose was very responsive as he attended several open houses and builder functions with us. His expertise in building techniques helped us identify when a builder was using cheaper materials and questionable workmanship. When we did decide on a community and builder, Jose assisted with the negotiations (he got the builder to provide a 10k discount and open a desirable lot). He also attended our design center appointment and provided a trained eye that really helped reduce the stress (and cost) of all the design decisions. Jose also provided a trained, watchful eye during the new build process. He had several insights that prevented builder mistakes and improved the overall quality of our house. Mr. Rayo is a true professional. As an experienced professional homebuilder myself I have dealt with thousands of realtors throughout my career. Additionally my own father is a realtor and one of the most successful realtors in his state. He is at the top level of his profession and owns several of the largest real estate firms in the state. Needless to say with my experience and environment regarding realtors throughout my lifetime I was very skeptical and my standards were probably higher than anyone else's standards could be. Furthermore, I didn't make it easy for Jose, I gave him a very specific and maybe if I am honest, a potentially unrealistic set of requirements to push him to achieve my goals. I didn't receive anything other than the best most professional timely and accurate advice than I could've ever wished for from another Realtor. Lastly, after missing a few of my phone calls which frankly pissed me off I got a hold of him and asked him why the hell he hadn't called me back and didn't answer my calls. He told me because he was finishing receiving his fourth full price offer on my home within one day of being on the market and he hadn't had time to call me back yet because he was putting a proposal packet together for me to review all the offers he had received on my home. Using Jose as my realtor was more than just a good decision. He has become a close personal friend, my real estate mentor and the only realtor I will ever use again. He is also the only realtor I ever have referred and ever will refer after using him. I work with several realtors before working with Martha but Martha was by far the most professional and the realtor that sent us the most options.
